Biography

Career: Appeared in 128 games for the Tigers, recording 19 goals and 48 assists for 67 points.
 
2017-18:
Served as one RIT’s captains for the second consecutive season … earned 2018 All-Atlantic Hockey third team honors … won the Tim Cordick Award as RIT's top defenseman and was co-recipient of the Louis Spiotti Coaches Award and Art Thomas Leadership Awards … bounced back from injury to record 20 points on three goals and a career-high 17 assists in 32 games … set a RIT Division I team record with an 11-game assist streak and 12-game point-scoring streak from Jan. 27 to March 3, recording two goals and 14 assists to go along with a plus-8 during that stretch … scored a power-play goal in a 5-2 win over Robert Morris … dished out two assists and was a career-best plus-3 in a 4-3 win over Robert Morris later in the season … scored a goal and was plus-2 in a 3-2 win at Robert Morris … had back-to-back two assist performances in games one and two of the Atlantic Hockey First Round Series against Sacred Heart … scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-3 loss to Mercyhurst … had four points in three playoff games … fired 60 shots on goal … had season-high five shots on goal in a game four times … had 49 shot blocks, including a season-high five in a 3-2 win at Air Force … finished with 16 points while playing in all 28 AHA contests. Played in 23 games before having season cut short due to injury … served as one of RIT’s three captains … tallied 14 points on seven goals and seven assists … led all RIT defensemen with seven goals … was second among all Atlantic Hockey defenseman in scoring before the injury … scored four power-play goals, tied for third most on the team … scored a goal, added an assist, and was plus-1 against Robert Morris … fired a season-high seven shots on goal in that contest … fired 59 shots on goal overall … had a point in five consecutive games, Nov. 23 to Dec. 10 … opened season with four points over his first three games and six points in his first six contests … scored the game-tying goal late in the third period in a 1-1 tie against Connecticut in front of a sellout crowd of 10,556 at Blue Cross Arena as part of the university’s Brick City Homecoming and Family Weekend … scored a goal in his final game of the season at American International … blocked 33 shots, including a season-high four in a 2-1 overtime win over Army West Point … recorded 10 points on five goals and five assists in 17 Atlantic Hockey regular season contests … earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team honors. 2015-16: Named the Atlantic Hockey Best Defenseman of the Year … garnered All-Atlantic Hockey first team honors … named to the Atlantic Hockey Championship All-Tournament Team … won RIT’s Tim Cordish Award as the team’s top defenseman … earned Atlantic Hockey Defensive Player of the Week honors, Jan. 5 … played in 34 contests … led all RIT defensemen with eight goals and tied for the team lead with 21 points … tied for fifth among all Atlantic Hockey defensemen in scoring, second in goals … led all Division I defensemen in scoring during the month of January with 13 points on four goals and nine assists in 10 games … tied for second on the team with a pair of game-winning goals … tied for fourth on the squad with three power-play markers … recorded career-high three points on a goal and two assists and was plus-3 in a 7-3 win at Mercyhurst … had two assists the day before in a 4-2 home win over the Lakers … had eight points (4-4-8) during a six-game point-scoring streak, Jan. 16 to Feb. 5 … scored game-winning goals against league foes Bentley and Sacred Heart in back-to-back weeks … scored power-play goals against American International, Air Force, and Mercyhurst … earned the number five play on the NCAA Hockey Plays of the Week, Nov. 2, as seen on www.ncaa.com … fired 83 shots on goal, including a season-high five in a game on four different occasions … blocked 38 shots, including five in the Atlantic Hockey Championship win over Robert Morris … tied for second on the team with 41 penalty minutes … recorded 18 points on seven goals and 11 assists in 23 Atlantic Hockey regular season contests … Tigers were 9-3-4 when he recorded a point. 2014-15: Played in 39 contests, recording 12 points on a goal and 11 assists … made his collegiate debut in the season-opening 5-2 win over St. Lawrence … dished out his first collegiate point, an assist on Matt Garbowsky’s second period goal in a 3-3 tie at Canisius … scored his first collegiate goal in the second period of a 4-3 loss to No. 19 Robert Morris … had a career-high two assists next night in a 4-3 win over the Colonials … had two assists in a 7-3 win over Niagara … dished out an assist and was plus-3 in an 8-0 win over Mercyhurst … had a goal and four assists over a four-game point-scoring streak, Feb. 14 to Feb. 27 … was plus-12 over a 14-game stretch, Jan. 31 to March 28 … had a goal and 10 assists in 28 Atlantic Hockey Conference games … fired 87 shots on goal, including five in the season-finale against Nebraska-Omaha in the NCAA Midwest Regional Final … Tigers were 7-1-2 when he recorded at least one point … blocked 47 shots … had a season-high four blocks in back-to-back games at Canisius. Before RIT: Led the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League to the 2013-14 Canalta Cup, Western Canada Cup, and Canadian Royal Bank Cup Championship as the top Junior "A" team in all of Canada … named the 2013-14 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Defenseman of the Year, leading all blue-liners in scoring with 45 points on nine goals and 36 assists … added seven goals and eight assists for 15 points in 16 postseason contests … two-time SJHL Defenseman of the Month … recorded 22 goals and 62 assists for 84 points to go along with 164 penalty minutes in 169 career games with Yorkton.
